My name is Shanya Santos, and I am a graphic designer interested in specializing in editorial and digital design. What drew me to graphic design was learning how to communicate effectively through visual elements and copy. I enjoy using design to translate ideas into clear and engaging communication.
From briefs to research, ideation, and final design concepts, I focus on attention to detail through thoughtful color application, type experimentation and pairing, and strong visual hierarchy. I am especially interested in taking complex or lengthy information and organizing it into clear, digestible layouts.
My experience with Adobe Creative Cloud includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD, as well as Figma. I enjoy continuously learning new tools and expanding my skill set.
What keeps me inspired in design is exploring diverse cultures, visiting museums and art shows, learning languages, and listening to a wide range of music. I believe maintaining this balance helps me grow as a designer.
